How much does a neon sign cost in Sweden? LED neon price guide 2026

Yellow LED neon lettering on a café wall

“How much is a neon sign?” is the question we hear most. The answer depends on a handful of things you can understand in five minutes. Here is a plain-language overview — no hidden fees, no jargon.

The short answer

Most LED neon business signs land between SEK 1,500 and 6,000. A small text sign for a home or a café counter sits at the lower end; a large multi-colour logo at the upper end. Very large installations — a whole neon wall, for example — are quoted separately.

Five things that drive the price

1. Size

The wider the sign, the more LED neon and acrylic it takes. Size is the biggest single factor. Rule of thumb: 50 cm suits a spot above a desk, 80–100 cm a café wall, and 120 cm or more the wall behind a bar or an entrance.

2. How much text, or how detailed the logo

In practice the price follows how many metres of neon tube are needed. A short word in script needs less than a logo with lots of small details. Tiny details may also need simplifying to look good when lit — we help with that in the visualisation.

3. Number of colours

One colour is simplest. Several colours mean more separate parts. RGB (colour-changing) costs a little more because it needs a controller, but gives you every colour in one sign.

4. Backing and mounting

Clear acrylic cut around the outline is standard and makes the neon look as if it floats on the wall. Black or white acrylic, a rectangular panel, a hanging kit or a desk stand change the price slightly.

5. Indoor or outdoor

Signs for facades and terraces are built to IP65 so they handle rain and cold. That costs more than an indoor sign but is essential in the Swedish climate.

What is included?

  • A free visualisation of the sign at the right scale
  • Production in our own EU workshop
  • CE-marked power supply and fixings
  • Dimmer and remote if you choose them
  • Warranty of up to 5 years

Shipping to Sweden normally takes 2–5 working days after production. VAT-registered businesses receive a correct EU invoice with reverse charge.

LED neon or glass neon — which is cheaper?

LED neon costs about a third of classic glass neon and uses much less power. Read more in our comparison LED neon vs glass neon.
